Steve Foxon is a self taught music and computer
addict who set off in pursuit of fame and fortune at the age of
16 when he first picked up a cheap Satellite guitar and 10 watt
Badger amp! Playing his way through The Shadows to Bon
Jovi, stopping at Dire Straits on the way, he soon
joined his first band. This sent him on a 10 year journey of Pop,
Rock and Funk with not much return and definitely no fame.
Disillusioned with bands, he turned to a cheap
4-track recorder where he crafted his composing and production
skills until finally taking the plunge into the world of computers.
Free from the constraints of four tracks, things moved on at a
pace when he finally threw himself into a 2 ˝ year writing project
for the freely downloadable Deus Ex: ZODIAC computer game.
The years of toil and freebies soon paid off
when Big Finish Productions took a liking to his music and he
had his first insight into the world of Sound Design and Post
Production with a short audition piece, which was well received.
Since then he has worked on 2000AD and Doctor
Who audio plays as well as a couple of projects for Megropolis
One Productions including the soundtrack to a short film. Finally
he’s delighted to be working with Noise Monster Productions
at their inception with Space: 1889.
