Mallinson is an excitable freelance illustrator and unashamed
steampunk enthusiast. An import from the world of videogames,
Alex now divides his time between illustrating giant futuristic
cityscapes and miniscule cellular structures. One day he’ll learn
to do all the other bits in-between.
Existing with polar extremes
is not new to Mallinson however, having been raised in Whitley
Bay and Singapore by an artist and historian from Newcastle and
Halifax respectively. Was it any wonder he’d end up in a state
of confusion? Alex now resides in London with every intention
to gain fame and fortune but without the requisite talent and
determination.
Alex can sometimes be persuaded
not to colour everything orange and, less frequently, to be silent
for prolonged periods.
